Thursday 30th April Trotting Poles

Xaile lost a shoe in the field yesterday so I decided not to ride today.  Instead I lunged him over raised trotting poles.  He was fabulous.  It really made him stretch his back and use himself rather than just running along.  Also he really enjoyed doing something different.     

I tried to take a few pics on my mobile as his trot really was great but it's surprisingly hard to take photos with a mobile and lunge and run along with with him down the straight bit!  So here they are but look at his little legs go!!!
