2nd April NO SCHOOL ARGH!!!!!!

The school is being resurfaced so today and tomorrow we can't ride in it.  Nightmare!  I have so many things I want to try out but never mind.  I met the vet at the yard in the morning for Xaile's vaccinations and to get his teeth checked.  He was a very brave boy for his vaccination- hardly flinched.  And apparently his teeth are in excellent condition and have been well looked after.

In the evening I met a friend, Gareth, for a hack with Clover.  It was a beautiful evening and we went exploring the bridleways.  Well exploring for me as I've not been that far yet, but Gareth knows the area well.  Both boys behaved beautifully and we had a lovely canter down the side of a field.  We trotted up lots of hills in a long low outline and again I really felt his back working.

The sun was setting as we came back down the road home.
