8th June - SUPERB lesson with Patrick Print

  • Do less.
  • Believe in what you do.
  • Make your hands the best hands they can be.
  • Shut all doors apart from the front door.
  • Concentrate on my position.
  • DON'T FIDDLE.
  • Don't push his head down with my hands as it puts pressure on the bars of his mouth which hurts.
  • Keep hands still and together so he can believe in the contact.
  • SHORTEN REINS.
  • Firm contact while he is resisting, relax the contact while he relaxes.

His trot was the springiest and most consistent it has been.  And there are lots of photos, but Partick took 500 and they are ALL THE SAME!!! This is terribly exciting as it's never happened before.
